By accessing and using the100Engineer ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

the100Engineer is an educational platform that provides system design and engineering management questions with AI-powered evaluation and feedback. The Service includes:

  • Access to engineering practice questions
  • AI-powered evaluation of your answers
  • Performance tracking and statistics
  • Global leaderboard participation

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as necessary
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to manipulate leaderboard rankings or scores
  • Copy, modify, or distribute content from the Service without permission

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the100Engineer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit (answers, etc.), but grant us a license to use, store, and process that content to provide the Service.

6. Rate Limits and Usage

The Service is subject to rate limits to ensure fair usage and system stability. Free tier users are limited to 8 questions per hour and 24 questions per day. We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time.

7. Leaderboard

Participation in the leaderboard is optional. By participating, you agree that:

  • Your display name and scores may be publicly visible
  • Rankings are calculated based on total scores and average performance
  • We reserve the right to remove accounts that violate these Terms
  • Leaderboard rankings are for entertainment and educational purposes

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of evaluations or feedback
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • That the Service will meet your requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE100ENGINEER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the100Engineer and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the100Engineer operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
